ABOUT ME

It might sound a bit cheesy, but since I was a kid, I secretly wished vampires were real. Why? Just so I could snag eternal life and dive headfirst into all the fascinating things that catch my interest. Call me a dreamer, but even 400 years wouldn't be enough to fully explore, try, and master everything that sparks my inspiration.

Hello there, I’m an illustrator, comic book artist and animator from Samobor, Croatia.

Combining skill from these three industries is where my greatest passion for visual storytelling truly comes to life. Basically that’s what I do - tell stories through visual art.

As for my formal education - I graduated from the High School of Applied Art, earning the title of Graphic Designer. Later, I pursued my passion further and obtained an MA in Animation and New Media from the Art Academy in Zagreb. Additionally, I'm a proud member of The Croatian Association of Visual Artists (HDLU). Oh, and in 2022, I officially became an author with the publication of my first book, 2023 I published my first comic book. Much more on the way.

My toolbox includes:

● DIGITAL ART - Illustrations/Comics/Animations (software: Photoshop, Procreate, Blender)
● TRADITIONAL ART - Illustrations/Comics (Aquarelle, Ink, Charcoal, Pencils)
● ILLUSTRATED BOOKS AND COMICS - I am skilled to create a illustrated book/comic book from cover to cover, from graphic design and illustrations to the story itself
● ANIMATIONS - I do 2.5D and 3D animations and cutscenes. I can bring a character to life from 2D concept art phase, through 3D production (including sculpting, retopo, rig) to animations

I know, it sounds a lot, Jack of all trades, master of none type of gig and that all professionals should be active in one industry... But this is who I am and what I passionately do, where intertwining those skills has led to my rich artistic career. This is my Ikigai.

2€ Croatia awarded coin design

As of 1st of January 2023 Croatia, my country, joined Schengen and €uro family. I'm truly honored to be a part of this historical moment as an Awarded designer behind the 2€ Geographical map Euro coin design. Beyond all the books and comics I've made and completing various projects, even as I became an author, this remains my proudest achievement.
